PALLASGREEN LGFC: Heartiest congratulations to the U14 Girls Novice team who had a fantastic win to capture the league title last Saturday morning in St Patrick’s GAA grounds. In a high scoring encounter they defeated Monagea by 8-10 to 6-5 and in doing completed an unique as the U14 Division A league was won last week. The adult girls were unfortunately beaten by Galtee Gaels in Pallas last Sunday morning in the last round of the league. An early start of 10am on a sun drenched morning saw Galtee Gaels take the honours by 4-4 to 2-7. JB HURLING: Hard luck to the JB Hurlers who were defeated by Cappamore in the East Semi final in Kilteely during the week. With only the minimum separating the sides at the break, Cappamore were more dominant in the second half and ran out convincing winners by 4-19 to 1-14
