BEST WISHES: We wish Daire Long and the Limerick Minor Hurling team the very best of luck as they take on Tipperary in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Final this Saturday at 3pm in the Gaelic Grounds.

Limerick, bidding to win the title for the first time since 1984, have produced magnificent performances throughout the campaign. Their skill, determination, and teamwork have brought them to the biggest stage, and another outstanding display on Saturday will give them every chance of emulating the heroes of 1984. Best wishes to Daire, the players, management, and all involved with the team.

 

LIMERICK CAMOGIE: Well done to Cliodhna Ryan and the Limerick camogie team who had an exciting one point win over Wexford 1-18 to 3-11 in the All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship in Chadwicks Wexford Park last Saturday.

 

PALLASGREEN LGFC: Heartiest congratulations to the U14 Girls Novice team who had a fantastic win to capture the league title last Saturday morning in St Patrick’s GAA grounds. In a high scoring encounter they defeated Monagea by 8-10 to 6-5 and in doing completed an unique as the U14 Division A league was won last week. Team; Ella McMahon, Saoirse Ryan, Millie Hayes, Kayla O’Connor, Caela Mae Curtin, Ava King, Lucy Riordan, Emma King, Molly McConnell, Isabelle O’Dwyer, Ava Egan, Emily Leahy, Abbie Peters, Ella Walsh, Lily Mai Grace, Aoibheann O’Dwyer, Doireann O’Dwyer, Nicole Heany, Orla Kavanagh, Rosa Keane, Laura Blackwell, Sarah Mai Bourke, Grace McMahon, Kate Hally, Leah Egan. The adult girls were unfortunately beaten by Galtee Gaels in Pallas last Sunday morning in the last round of the league. An early start of 10am on a sun drenched morning saw Galtee Gaels take the honours by 4-4 to 2-7. Team; Roisin O’Connell, Ciara McNamara, Hanah Dillon, Aoife Connolly, Aoibhe Rodahan, Aine Looby, Niamh Mulcahy, Kaelin Ryan, Sarah Dillon, Essie Dillon, Eabha Hourigan, Aoife Purcell, Emily Franklin, Caoimhe Butler, Aishling Butler. Subs; Hannah Fealy, Ella Connolly, Catriona Dillon, Katie Dillon. 

 

MASTERS FOOTBALL: Well done our four representatives on the Limerick Masters football team (Brian O’Leary, Denis O’Connor, Trevor Cosgrave and Eddie Mulcahy) and the Limerick team who had a great win over Clare last Saturday afternoon. Limerick won a scoreline of 3-9 to 1-9

 

JB HURLING: Hard luck to the JB Hurlers who were defeated by Cappamore in the East Semi final in Kilteely during the week. With only the minimum separating the sides at the break, Cappamore were more dominant in the second half and ran out convincing winners by 4-19 to 1-14

CONDOLENCES: the club would like to offer its heartfelt condolences to Michael Hally and family on the sad passing of Michael’s brother James Hally of Cashel, Co Tipperary who passed away after a short illness. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam dilis.
