U14 FOOTBALL GIRLS REACH CO LEAGUE FINAL: Well done to the U14 girls football team who have booked their place in the County A Shield Final following an outstanding semi-final victory over Ballylanders in Pallasgreen last Saturday evening. This is a remarkable achievement for the group, especially considering that the majority of the panel were celebrating county success just a week earlier after winning the Camogie League Final. Despite the less-than-summery weather conditions, Pallasgreen produced an excellent display and were the stronger side in most areas of the field from start to finish. Their work rate, teamwork and determination proved too much for Ballylanders, with Pallasgreen running out convincing winners on a scoreline of 6-10 to 2-6.
The girls can now look forward to a County League Final appearance on June 20th  tbc.
Team; Mia O’Toole, Emily Grisewood, Sally Ryan, Daire Hayes, Abbey Mulcahy, Eadaoin Butler, Aoife Mulcahy, Ava Egan, Mia Hally, Molly McConnell, Ella Hartnett, Anna Hennessy, Ella McMahon, Molly Deere, Ava King. Subs; Emma King, Isabelle O’Dwyer, Kayla O’Connor, Millie Hayes, Emily Leahy.

CONGRATULATIONS: The club extends its congratulations to Colin Ryan and the Limerick senior hurling team and management in their Munster Senior Hurling Final victory over Cork in Páirc Uí Chaoimh last Sunday, Limerick won by the minimum 1-21 to 2-17 and now progress in to the All Ireland Semi final in Croke Park on Sunday 5th of July. Congratulations also to Grace McMahon, who lined out for the Limerick Primary Schools team against Cork at half-time of the Munster Senior Hurling Final. A wonderful honour and achievement for Grace, and we hope she enjoyed every moment of it and sure to be a memorable occasion.

U14 HURLING: Hard luck to the Pallasgreen-Kilteely/Dromkeen U14 hurlers who were defeated by Na Piarsaigh in Kilteely last week.
Played in difficult wet and windy conditions, the lads produced a determined and spirited performance throughout. They battled hard from the opening whistle and never gave up, showing great commitment, teamwork and resilience against a strong Na Piarsaigh side. Despite their best efforts and a gallant display, they came up just short at the final whistle, losing on a scoreline of 2-10 to 2-9.

HARD LUCK: Hard luck to Cathal McKenna and his Limerick Celtic Challenge U17 teammates who were beaten by the narrowest of margins in the All-Ireland final last Saturday by Clare in the Gaelic Grounds. Scoreline Clare 1-18 to 2-14. Hard luck also to Cliodhna Ryan and the Limerick camogie side as they lost to Clare in Ennis last Saturday by 1-13 to 0-11.

BEST WISHES: Best wishes to Daire Long and the Limerick minor hurling team as they play Galway in the All Ireland semi final this Saturday June 13th at 5pm in Cusack Park Ennis.
