U14 CAMOGIE TEAM WIN CO LEAGUE FINAL: Congratulations to our U14 camogie team who captured the Shannon League Cup title in thrilling fashion last week in Knocklong. Facing formidable opponents in Galbally, Pallasgreen knew they were in for a tough battle from the outset. Galbally made the stronger start and held a commanding 2-2 to 0-1 lead at half-time, leaving Pallas with a mountain to climb in the second period. However, the Pallasgreen girls emerged for the second half as a transformed team. Showing tremendous determination, skill and character, they gradually worked their way back into the contest with an exceptional display of camogie. Every player gave their all as they battled for every ball and refused to give up. The game went right down to the wire, providing a thrilling spectacle for the fine crowd in attendance. In the end, Pallasgreen edged ahead to secure a dramatic victory on a scoreline of 3-4 to 3-3, claiming the title by the narrowest of margins. It was a fantastic team performance and a reward for the hard work and commitment shown by the players throughout the campaign. Congratulations to the entire panel, management team and all involved on a wonderful achievement.
