LIMERICK MASTERS FOOTBALL: The Limerick Masters football team took on Waterford in Pallas last Saturday in round two of the All-Ireland series. On a sun-drenched day, with the pitch in immaculate condition, both teams played out an excellent and entertaining game of football which ended in a draw, 1-13 to 3-7. It was a proud occasion for the club, and it must have been a pleasure for our local representatives to wear the green jersey on their home pitch. Well done to Brian O’Leary, Trevor Cosgrave, Denis O’Connor and Eddie Mulcahy on their contributions throughout the game.
Credit must also go to the club for having the venue in splendid condition for the occasion and for providing refreshments for both teams after the match.
Congratulations to Brian O’Leary, who was deservedly awarded Man of the Match for an outstanding performance.

It turned out to be a busy few days for the Ladies teams as they held a successful fundraising walk last Saturday afternoon in Knockane.
Starting from the Idler Bar, a great turnout of supporters gathered to take on the scenic and historic 5km route around Templebraden in glorious weather conditions. The relaxed atmosphere along the route led to plenty of chats and conversations as participants enjoyed the afternoon together.
As walkers neared the finish line, the delicious aroma from the BBQ certainly helped build an appetite for the sizzling food that awaited everyone at the end of the walk. The club would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported the event in any way , whether by taking part, sponsoring, donating or helping out behind the scenes. Your support is greatly appreciated.
